Restoration
Most of us have precious memories of family, friends and places, in the form of photographs. Many may be damaged and stored away to prevent further deterioration - which means they are not giving you daily pleasure.
It doesn't have to be the case. In this gallery, you will see samples of my restoration work including the damaged original and understand better what can be achieved.
It might be a case of bringing back contrast and/or colour to a faded print, or removing heavy cracks and tears. Whatever the condition of the original, be assured that the finished repair will last a lifetime, printed to your size requirement using quality, archival inks and paper. The extent of the damage will determine the success of the repair, but I will be able to advise you in advance.
The original will always be handled as little as possible and with the greatest care whilst in my posession. It will be carefully scanned into my computer and work will commence on the digital copy only.
